Patek Philippe's own chronology dates the line's launch to 2013, although auction records document a ref. 7010R-010 from circa 2010. Earlier executions include the silvered-dial 7010R-011 and the 7010R-012, identified by its warm golden-brown waved dial. In 2023, Patek Philippe introduced the 7010R-013 in place of the earlier strap references and their bracelet counterparts. Its small-wave dial receives approximately 50 fine coats of lacquer, building translucent purple and clear layers for visual depth.
