Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Grand Complications Ref. 5271

Patek Philippe revealed the Ref. 5271 at Baselworld in 2014 as the platinum, gem-set counterpart to the Ref. 5270, replacing the earlier Ref. 5971 in its perpetual-calendar-chronograph line. The reference remains in production and pairs a 41 mm platinum case with the manually wound CH 29-535 PS Q caliber. The original 5271P-001 used a 12-layer black lacquered dial with grey sunken sub-registers, removing the recessed tachymeter effect sometimes called the Ref. 5270's "double chin." Its bezel and lugs carry 58 baguette diamonds, while 22 more appear on the deployant clasp and another replaces the 12 o'clock marker. Colored-gem executions followed in sapphire, ruby and emerald, including the small-series 5271/13P-001 offered to VIP clients. In 2022, the 5271/11P-010 introduced a blue lacquered gradient dial and 80 baguette blue sapphires, while the 5271/12P-010 paired a red lacquered black-gradient dial with 80 baguette rubies.
