Patek Philippe Ref. 5139G is a Grand Complications perpetual calendar in 18K white gold, produced from 2008 through 2018. Introduced at Baselworld in 2008 as the successor to Ref. 5039, it increased the round case from approximately 35 mm to 38 mm while retaining the Clous de Paris, or double hobnail, bezel. The original Ref. 5139G-001, made from 2008 to 2010, pairs a gray/silver opaline dial with applied baton markers. In 2011, the Ref. 5139G-010 became the regular execution, adding a black lacquered dial and applied gold baton markers while keeping the same white-gold case and automatic Calibre 240 Q. A unique Ref. 5139G-012 was created in 2014 for collector Michael S. Ovitz, with an electric-blue dial, white-gold Breguet numerals and an M-S-O inscription inside the moon-phase register. Calibre 240 Q is an ultra-thin automatic perpetual-calendar movement driven by an off-center 22K gold micro-rotor. Its dial displays day and 24-hour information at 9 o'clock, month and leap year at 3 o'clock, and date with moon phase at 6 o'clock.
