Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Grand Complications Ref. 5078P

Patek Philippe ref. 5078P is a platinum automatic minute repeater produced from 2005 through 2017. Launched at Baselworld in 2005 as the successor to ref. 3979, it places the self-winding Calibre R 27 PS inside a compact 38 mm case with elongated fluted lugs, a repeating slide on the left side, and a sapphire display back. The movement combines a 22k gold micro-rotor with the repeater mechanism in a 28 mm construction measuring only 5.05 mm thick. The original 5078P-001 pairs platinum with a white Grand Feu enamel dial, black Roman numerals, and small seconds. Patek Philippe introduced the 5078P-010 in 2008 with a black lacquered dial and raised white Roman numerals. Documented special executions include the blue soleil 5078P-013 from 2009, the 2012 5078P-011 with a red seconds hand, and the privately commissioned 5078P-022 delivered in 2016 with a custom black Grand Feu enamel dial.
