Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5124G

The Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5124G is a manually wound, white-gold rectangular watch produced from 2008 through 2019. Its elongated, sculpted stepped case drew inspiration from Patek Philippe's 10-day tourbillon Ref. 5101, while its shaped architecture houses the purpose-built rectangular Calibre 25-21 REC PS rather than a round movement adapted to fit. Two executions define the reference. The 5124G-001, produced from 2008 to 2014, pairs the white-gold case with a warm vintage-rose or salmon dial, black oxidized applied Breguet numerals, and feuille hands. A factory-sealed example made circa 2008 achieved a notable result at Phillips Hong Kong. Introduced at Baselworld in 2015, the 5124G-011 succeeded it with a blue sunburst dial, thicker angular white-gold baton markers, dauphine hands, double indexes at 12 o'clock, and a graduated small-seconds chapter ring. It remained in production through 2019. At 33.4 by 43.0 mm, both versions share the same stepped white-gold case proportions and small-seconds layout, yet their dial architecture gives each a markedly different character.
