Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5030G
Introduced in 1994, the Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5030G pairs an oversized tonneau-shaped case in 18k white gold with the automatic calibre 315/190, also designated 315 SC. Its rounded form stands apart from the more strictly rectangular watches associated with the Gondolo collection, whose form-watch heritage draws on Art Deco geometry and Patek Philippe's historic relationship with Gondolo & Labouriau in Rio de Janeiro. Favre-Perret made the 5030 series cases, while Stern Frères supplied the dials. Two principal dial executions define the reference: white or porcelain-style dials with painted black Arabic numerals, and silvered or opaline dials with applied gold Breguet numerals. Both place centre seconds and a date aperture within the tonneau format. The leather-strap 5030G-001 ran from 1994 through 2005. A separate bracelet execution, Ref. 5030/22G-001, was produced from 1995 through 2005 with an integrated white-gold link bracelet, generally paired with a silvered dial and applied Breguet numerals. Now discontinued, the 5030G offers automatic winding and a useful date in a white-gold form watch from an important period of modern Patek Philippe production. Every watch is authenticated and backed by The 1916 Company's 2-year warranty.
