Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Complications Ref. 5960R
Patek Philippe Ref. 5960R belongs to the Complications family and pairs an Annual Calendar with a self-winding flyback chronograph in an 18K rose-gold case. Introduced in 2009 as the first pink-gold version of the 5960, it remained in production through 2014, when Patek Philippe replaced the existing platinum and gold models with the stainless-steel 5960/1A. The 5960R matters because the broader 5960 line introduced Patek Philippe's first in-house self-winding chronograph movement. Calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H uses a column wheel and vertical clutch, along with a 21K-gold rotor, and incorporates 456 parts. Its dial places calendar apertures across the upper half, a power-reserve display below 12 o'clock, day/night indication, and a combined chronograph register at 6 o'clock. Four executions were produced: the two-tone gray and charcoal 5960R-001 from 2009 to 2012; the black-dial 5960R-010 from 2012 to 2013; the silvered or opaline-white 5960R-011 from 2012 to 2014; and the 5960R-012, released in 2013 with a black dial and matching calendar discs. Produced for one year, the 5960R-012 was the shortest-lived standard rose-gold version. Water-resistance specifications vary by execution: the 2009 technical data for the 5960R-001 lists 25 m, while later 5960R variants are often listed at 30 m. Every pre-owned Patek Philippe 5960R available through The 1916 Company is authenticated and backed by The 1916 Company's 2-year warranty.
