Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Complications Ref. 5905P

The Patek Philippe 5905P is a platinum Complications Annual Calendar Chronograph introduced at Baselworld in 2015 and produced through 2022. Its reference joins the design and complication lineage of the 5960 and 5205, placing an annual calendar and flyback chronograph in a classically styled 42 mm platinum case. The self-winding CH 28-520 QA 24H uses a column wheel and vertical disk clutch, while three apertures display the day, date, and month. It requires one calendar correction each year, when February changes to March. Patek Philippe offered two standard executions. The 5905P-001 pairs a blue dial with a navy alligator strap and remained in the catalog through 2022. The 5905P-010 has a black dial, blackened calendar apertures, and a black alligator strap; it appeared on the 2021 run-out list. Both use a platinum prong buckle. The rare 5905P-014 was created in 2019 for the 150th anniversary of Weir & Sons in Ireland. Limited to 25 examples, it has a green dial and strap, an anniversary-engraved sapphire caseback, a dedicated presentation box, and white-gold cufflinks.
