Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Complications Ref. 5905

Introduced at Baselworld in 2015 as the successor to the 5960 family, Patek Philippe Ref. 5905 combines a self-winding flyback chronograph with an Annual Calendar in a 42 mm case. Its calibre CH 28-520 QA 24H uses a column wheel and vertical disk clutch. The low-wear clutch permits the central chronograph hand to serve as running seconds, while the calendar requires one correction each year, at the transition from February to March. The reference began with two platinum executions: the blue-dial 5905P-001 and black-dial 5905P-010, each fitted to an alligator strap and marked by a Top Wesselton diamond between the lugs at 6 o'clock. Rose gold followed in 2019 with the brown-dial 5905R-001. In 2021, the olive-green 5905/1A-001 became the first stainless-steel version, pairing the case with an integrated three-link bracelet inspired by the Aquanaut 5167/1A but finished differently. The blue-dial 5905R-010 replaced the earlier rose-gold model in 2023 and remains in Patek Philippe's collection.
