Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Complications Ref. 5131

Patek Philippe introduced Ref. 5131 at Baselworld in April 2008, returning the cloisonné-enamel World Time watch to its regular collection. Produced through 2021, the reference began in yellow gold, followed by white gold, rose gold and, in 2017, platinum. Its defining feature is a hand-worked enamel map framed by the city and 24-hour rings, with italicized city names and the Patek Philippe and Genève signatures engraved on the bezel. Ref. 5131 succeeded Ref. 5130, retaining the ultra-thin automatic Calibre 240 HU while replacing the predecessor's hand-guilloché center with geographic cloisonné enamel. The movement isolates the city and 24-hour disks from the going train, allowing time-zone corrections without disturbing the minute hand or rate. Individual executions depict different regions and use period-specific city rings, so references such as 5131J-001, 5131G-010 and 5131R-011 should be assessed as separate watches rather than interchangeable versions. The final 5131/1P-001 introduced a North Pole view and a full platinum bracelet. Examples listed by The 1916 Company may include original box and papers depending on the watch; every watch is authenticated and backed by The 1916 Company's 2-year warranty.
