Patek Philippe introduced reference 5037 in 1998 as a more luxurious version of the earlier reference 5035 annual calendar. Produced through 2004 and now discontinued, it combines a 37 mm gold case with an integrated gold bracelet, a diamond-set bezel, and diamond hour indexes. The standard gem-set configuration comprises 52 bezel diamonds totaling approximately 1.17 carats, accompanied by 12 diamond indexes on the white dial. Each execution has its own metal identity. The 5037/1G-001 uses white gold, the 5037/1J-001 yellow gold, and the 5037/1R-001 pink gold; all were made with corresponding gold bracelets rather than leather straps. The dial presents day and month subdials, a date aperture at 6 o'clock, and a 24-hour indication. Unlike the related 5036, the 5037 does not add moon phases or a power-reserve display.
