Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Complications Ref. 4968G

Introduced in 2012 as the Diamond Ribbon, Patek Philippe Ref. 4968G pairs traditional hand-wound watchmaking with an elaborate Joaillerie case. Its graduated diamond spiral takes its cue from the flowing shape of a rhythmic-gymnastics ribbon, continuing across the white-gold case and into the engraved mother-of-pearl dial. At 33.3 mm, the discontinued reference has a compact presence, while the sapphire-crystal case back reveals the manually wound Calibre 215 PS LU. Two executions were produced under the 4968G reference. The 4968G-001, documented from 2012 to 2016, combines black, Tahitian mother-of-pearl with a gray alligator strap and 273 graduated diamonds totaling approximately 2.12 carats. The 4968G-010 debuted as a Baselworld 2014 novelty and remained in the collection through 2022, changing the composition to white mother-of-pearl, ruthenium-black applied numerals, and a shiny taupe alligator strap. The moon-phase display and small seconds share the subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock in both versions. Our available Complications Moonphases example is the 4968G-010.
