Introduced in 1972, this discontinued dress watch remained in production through 1977 before Reference 3848 replaced it. Its 27 x 32 mm elliptical case was made by F. Baumgartner and houses the manually wound Patek Philippe calibre 23-300 PM. Reference 3648 appeared in several clearly differentiated executions. The 3648J and 3648G pair yellow-gold or white-gold cases with leather straps, while the 3648/1J and 3648/1G use integrated bracelets in the corresponding metal. Documented dials include blue, champagne, black and brown, with baton indexes appearing on several versions. The available 3648/1 is an 18K yellow-gold manual-wind watch with a golden dial, black Roman hour markers and an integrated 18K yellow-gold Patek Philippe bracelet.
