Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Cubitus 5822P
Introduced in October 2024, the Patek Philippe Cubitus 5822P-001 was the platinum flagship of the collection's three-model debut. Phillips described Cubitus as Patek Philippe's first entirely new watch family in more than 25 years, and the 5822P remains in production.
The reference pairs a 45 mm platinum case, measured from 10 to 4 o'clock, with a sunburst blue, horizontally embossed dial and composite strap. Its self-winding calibre 240 PS CI J LU is 4.76 mm thick and comprises 353 parts and 52 jewels. Developed with six patent applications, the movement makes its large date, day, and moon-phase indications jump together at midnight in 18 milliseconds. The grand date at 12 o'clock uses separate tens and units disks positioned on the same plane, keeping both numerals level and aligned.
Compared with the display architecture associated with the Nautilus 5712, the 5822P replaces the power-reserve indicator with the double-aperture grand date and adds a day indication around the moon phase at 7 o'clock. That moon-phase display is calculated to deviate from the true lunar cycle by one day after 122 years. A 0.02 ct baguette-cut diamond appears at 6 o'clock, identified by Patek Philippe as the first use of that cut in one of its platinum cases.
