Patek Philippe debuted the world's first annual calendar wristwatch at the 1996 Basel Fair with ref. 5035. The 5035P brings that complication to a 37mm platinum case, with a black dial carrying applied luminous Roman numerals, three subsidiary dials for day, month, and 24-hour indication, and a date aperture at 6 o'clock, all driven by caliber 315 SQA. Production ran from 1996 to 2005, and the platinum variant remains the most refined expression of the original reference.
