The Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 5108G is a self-winding dress watch in 18K white gold, distinguished by a diamond-set bezel, diamond hour markers, central seconds, and a date display. Launched in white gold in 2005 and discontinued in 2010, with documented examples manufactured as early as 2004, it pairs the Calatrava's round, pared-back form with a gem-set treatment rarely seen in this short-lived reference. The nominally 37 mm, two-part case is fitted with a screw-down transparent back and was normally supplied on an alligator-leather strap. Patek Philippe produced two principal white-gold executions. Ref. 5108G-010 has a black diamond-set dial, while Ref. 5108G-012 uses a white or silvered dial with round and baguette-cut diamond indexes. Documented examples of both variants have bezels set with 52 diamonds totaling approximately 1.05 carats, and the white-dial version is regarded as less common than the black-dial execution. Early watches are documented with Cal. 315/290, while later examples use movements from the 324 family, including Cal. 324/390.
