Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 5022G
Introduced in 1997 and produced through 2003, the Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 5022G is a discontinued, manually wound dress watch in 18K white gold. Its compact 33 mm stepped case houses calibre 215 PS, a Geneva Seal movement with small seconds and approximately 44 hours of power reserve. The Calatrava collection began with Ref. 96 in 1932 and remains Patek Philippe's quintessential round wristwatch, associated with simplicity, elegance, and Bauhaus-influenced form.
Within the Ref. 5022G family, dial design and bracelet configuration define several distinct versions. The short-lived 5022G-001, produced from 1997 to 1999, has a black-and-silver two-tone guilloché dial, Roman numerals, and leaf hands. The 5022G-010, offered from 1998 to 2003, uses a black Art Deco guilloché dial framed by a brushed-silver minute ring, plus a silvered subsidiary-seconds register and sans-serif signature. From 1999 to 2003, the officer-style 5022G-012 paired a white porcelain-finish dial with black Breguet numerals and Breguet moon hands. The related 5022/1G-010 added a woven white-gold bracelet and a white dial with black Arabic markers. Examples shown here may include the 5022G-012. Every watch is authenticated and backed by The 1916 Company's 2-year warranty.
