Pre-Owned Patek Philippe Aquanaut Ref. 5064A

The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Ref. 5064A brings the early Aquanaut look into a compact stainless-steel quartz format. Introduced in 1998 as part of the collection's second generation, it followed the original 5060A with a smaller 34 mm case and the signed E23 SC quartz calibre. Its black embossed dial has centre seconds, luminous baton indexes, and a date aperture at 3 o'clock, with the numerals and date display revised from those of the 5060A. A solid screw-down caseback and Tropical rubber strap complete the standard configuration. Produced through 2006, the discontinued 5064A occupies an unusual place among early Aquanaut references, most of which are mechanical and larger. A documented example from its first production year was confirmed by an Extract from the Archives as made in 1998 and sold on January 7, 1999. Another circa-2003 example retained its Certificate of Origin, presentation box, and uncut Tropical strap when it appeared at Phillips. Patek Philippe later identified the 5064 among the previous-generation models replaced by the 5167 and 5165.
