My Summer Jewelry Uniform

The pieces I keep reaching for …

Eleonor Picciotto3 Min ReadAug 6 2026

I have always believed that summer jewelry follows different rules. The best pieces aren’t necessarily the most precious or the most elaborate. They’re the ones you reach for without thinking: the necklace you forget to take off before jumping into the pool, the earrings that somehow work with a linen shirt at lunch and a silk dress at sunset, or the pendant that quietly becomes part of every holiday picture. This isn’t about building the perfect jewelry wardrobe. It’s simply about the five pieces I’d happily wear on repeat from June through September. Whether I’m heading to the beach, spending the afternoon by the pool or dressing up for dinner on a warm summer evening, these are the ones that always make the cut.

Claudia Mae – Brushed Gold Charms

Zoom In

There’s something incredibly satisfying about jewelry that feels personal. Claudia Mae’s new brushed gold charms do exactly that. Their satin finish catches the sunlight differently from polished gold, giving them a softer, almost vintage glow that feels perfect against sun-kissed skin. Wear one or keep adding charms over the years; they’re designed to tell your story, one summer at a time.

Dinh Van – Menottes Pearl Necklace

Pearls have quietly reinvented themselves over the past few years, and this Menottes necklace by Dinh Van is proof. On its own, it’s elegant. But stacked with gold chains of different lengths, it suddenly becomes cool, effortless and surprisingly modern. It’s probably the easiest way to make pearls feel less “country club” and more “Italian Riviera.”

Etho Maria – Pink Enamel Drop Earrings

Summer is the season when color feels natural, and these earrings from Etho Maria capture that spirit perfectly. The soft pink enamel adds just enough freshness without overwhelming an outfit, while the elongated silhouette creates beautiful movement. They’re playful enough for a swimsuit and oversized shirt, yet elegant enough to carry you straight into cocktail hour. And if you ask me, I would just wear one: pick your side!

Gemella – Dual-Tone Flower Necklace

Zoom In

Some pieces simply make you smile, and this necklace by Gemella is one of them. Even though turquoise is the December Sacred Birthstone, turquoise in the summer is just perfect. The combination of turquoise and pink opal instantly transports me somewhere between the Amalfi Coast and the Greek Islands. I also love how the brand’s signature pear-cut stones form a flower that feels joyful rather than overly precious. It’s the definition of easy summer jewelry.

Summer has a funny way of simplifying everything—including the way we dress. Maybe that’s why the jewelry we wear this time of year tends to become the jewelry we remember and never take off. The pieces that collected sunscreen, salt water and long dinners with friends. The ones that found their way into every holiday photograph to either dress you up or down. And if, by September, they look like they’ve had as much fun as you did… then you’ve probably chosen well.
