The last few weeks have been a challenging time, as we’ve all had to deal with the effects of the COVID-19 spread. We have taken measures to ensure that the health and safety of The 1916 Company’s clients, team, and greater community remain our highest priorities.
The 1916 Company is a global business and we have been operating in Asia since the virus first appeared. We have been able to operate effectively in these circumstances and have applied best practices learned to our other global locations.
The 1916 Company remains open to serve your pre-owned watch needs during this period and we are accessible through our regular channels, however during this time, we have closed our headquarters to visitors in the US. Please note our offices in Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai remain open, and we have implemented proactive policies to help with containment efforts. Please call your local The 1916 Company office for an appointment or up-to-the-minute details before visiting.
We have implemented a work-from-home policy for staff who are able work remotely and have introduced split shifts in our offices to minimize the number of people in our offices at any given time. We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure that our offices remain safe. With these actions, The 1916 Company will continue to serve our global watch community. During this time, our global team of client advisors are working 24/7 to connect you to the The 1916 Company platform to buy, sell, and trade.
For so many of us, watches represent enjoyment, entertainment, community, a way to escape from the ‘every day,’ and so much more. With much of the world confined to their homes, we want to virtually come together as a global watch community. During these unprecedented times, we hope that our content and community can provide a welcomed respite from the news of the day.
