Gstaad, Switzerland is set to host some of the world’s top watch collectors next week on February 16, as the Action Innocence Foundation prepares to host its latest charity auction. Founded in Geneva in 1999 by Mrs. Valérie Wertheimer, the organization is dedicated to protecting children’s dignity and integrity on the internet.

The Action Innocence auction will be headlined by two unique and extraordinary watches by sought-after independent watchmakers F.P. Journe and Richard Mille, with Aurel Bacs of Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo behind the rostrum.

F.P. Journe has exercised support for this cause throughout the years, gifting special editions of the Tourbillon Souverain, élégante, and Chronomètre Optimum to Action Innocence in 2015 and 2017. For this year’s event, F.P. Journe has donated a unique edition of the Automatique, with a crosshatch dial design that echoes the watchmaker’s past donations to the cause. Varnished, lacquered, honed and polished by hand, the distinct purple hue reflects Action Innocence’s official color.

Richard Mille will offer a unique version of the RM 67-02, a watch associated with French skier and brand ambassador, Alexis Pinturault. This version for Action Innocence will feature Pinturault’s signature on the sapphire display caseback and will be sold alongside a pair of skis made by HEAD that feature the Richard Mille logo.

Estimates have not been shared for either watch, but with 100% of the money raised benefitting Action Innocence, we anticipate generous support from the attending donors.
