Raised in the Parisian watchmaking industry, Eleonor moved to the U.S. to study journalism in Boston. She then worked at Harry Winston in New York City for two years before settling in Geneva in 2012 to launch the MB&F M.A.D. Gallery. Afterward, she spent seven months touring the Pacific, ending her trip in French Polynesia where she learned about black pearls. This experience inspired her to create The Eye of Jewelry, an editorial website dedicated to the world of jewelry. Now based between Geneva, Paris, and the rest of the world, she combines her watchmaking expertise with her extensive knowledge of haute-joaillerie and fine jewelry to offer a comprehensive 360° perspective on this dazzling industry. Eléonor serves as the editor-at-large, shaping the Jewelry Channel of The 1916 Company.
